Who am I?
My name is Phillip and I’m a 30 year “old” man hailing from God’s Own County aka Yorkshire. I work for a university to bring in the brass but I still hold on to the dream of one day being a fully fledged published author and writing as a full time career.
I’ve always had an interest in writing and technology and so the idea of this site was born with the aim of bringing together 2 of my passions in a way that gave me a creative outlet and allowed me to connect with other people with similar interests and ideas.

When I’m not working, it has to be said that family & friends, football and dogs make up the rest of my life. I don’t want to talk too much about family and friends as I don’t think they’d appreciate information about them being splashed across the web for strangers to view. The one thing I will say is I’m very lucky to have a lot of very supportive people around me.
Football and dogs however are another matter. First the football, it entered my life aged 8 and has been and continues to be the source of countless moments of excitement, despair, pride, humiliation, frustration and euphoria. It truly is amazing the range of emotions this game can conjure up and all of the moments I described before have been known to happen in one 90 minute period! I love it though and I can be found season in season out following my team with as much enthusiasm as ever.
Finally dogs, mans best friend. There’s not much to say really except currently I have 3 faithful pooches they can be every bit as demanding as children but when I come home from work to be met by 3 dogs overflowing with happiness just at my presence it’s impossible not to smile at their lolling tongues and wagging tails.
